Kitchen
1. Counters & sink. Clear everything off, wipe counters with a disinfecting cleaner, and scrub the sink basin — it's one of the germiest spots in the house.
2. Stovetop & microwave. Degrease the stovetop and wipe the microwave inside and out; old splatter bakes on fast.
3. Appliance fronts. Fingerprints on the fridge, dishwasher, and oven handle make a clean kitchen look dirty. A quick wipe fixes it.
Bathrooms
4. Toilet, tub & shower. Disinfect the toilet inside and out, scrub tub and tile grout, and squeegee glass doors to stop buildup.
5. Mirrors & fixtures. Streak-free mirrors and polished faucets are the difference between "cleaned" and "detailed."
Bedrooms & Living Areas
6. Dust top to bottom. Shelves, baseboards, ceiling fan blades, and window sills — dust falls downward, so always work top-down.
7. Floors edge to edge. Vacuum under furniture and along edges where dust bunnies camp out, then mop hard floors.
The Forgotten Spots
8. Light switches & doorknobs. Touched dozens of times a day, cleaned almost never. A disinfecting wipe takes seconds.
9. Trash cans. Empty them, then wipe the rims and lids — odors live there long after the bag is gone.
10. Entryway. Shoes track in most of your home's dirt. A swept entry and a shaken-out mat cut dust everywhere else.
